Humble beginnings

In the depths of the Cornish countryside, formulations that began at the kitchen table were upscaled and formalised as the Inlight word began to spread. We eventually found a home at Roskilly’s farm, a working dairy farm where we were able to set up a lab, stock room and offices ready for the next chapter in our journey. Staff fondly remember being late for work because of cows on the road, enjoying fresh made pizzas on lunch breaks and ice creams at round table meetings. Many customers still remember visiting us at the farm for their organic skincare favourites, in blue glass bottles and jars.

Hi, I'm Jila, and I've been part of the Inlight Beauty journey since 2018. In November 2024, I was honoured to be promoted to General Manager, a role that allows me to help shape the future of a brand I am deeply passionate about.

I have a clear vision for where we are heading and am incredibly excited about the opportunities ahead. Over the years, I have been proud to contribute to the growth and success of Inlight Beauty, and even prouder of what our team has achieved together.

As we celebrate 20 years of Inlight Beauty, it feels like a significant milestone. In an industry where many brands come and go, we have remained true to our values, our commitment to organic beauty, and our dedication to creating exceptional products with integrity.

While we are proud of everything we have accomplished so far, I truly believe the best is yet to come. I look forward to continuing this journey, building on our strong foundations, and leading Inlight Beauty into an exciting new chapter.

Having worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years, I was drawn to working with Inlight because of the way it hand crafts all of its skincare and uses organic ingredients which are suitable for those, like me, with very sensitive skin. This 20-year milestone is a very exciting one as it shows us that what we do here at Inlight is very much loved. We are moving into some exciting chapters with new products on the horizon and entering into the Spa category.

I have worked with Inlight since 2022. As E-commerce Manager, I run our website, but you will also find me answering customer queries and carefully packing your orders. Having always had a passion for handmade design, Inlight Beauty is a natural fit. It allows me to connect people with truly unique, artisan-crafted skincare. Every skin journey is completely personal, and I genuinely enjoy helping our customers find their perfect routine.

At home, an old cottage and a young family keep me rather busy. When I do get some spare time, you will find me rambling through the Cornish countryside or starting yet another new hobby.

I’m the Spa & Training Manager for Inlight, where I have the privilege of creating our beautiful treatments and supporting our spas and therapists through ongoing training and development. With over 30 years in the spa and wellness industry, I remain as passionate as ever about delivering exceptional treatments and helping therapists grow in confidence and skill.

When I’m not immersed in the world of holistic wellbeing, I’m spending time with my family. I’m married to David, who works away in Florida, USA, for part of the year, so we divide our time between sunny Florida and the beautiful Cornish coast.

I’m also a proud mum to two teenage children and my devoted companion, WIGGY, our cocker spaniel who rarely leaves my side. Outside of work, you’ll usually find us walking along the stunning North Cornwall coastline, tending to the many roses in my garden, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life by the sea.

A proud part of the Inlight family since 2000, I keep our operations moving smoothly as Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

My days are split between the office and the warehouse floor, where I keep an eye on stock, source our packaging, and dispatch our great products.

That on-the-go energy follows me outside of work; in my spare time, you’ll find me running, cycling, walking, or powering through a high-energy gym class!

Production

The team is completed by our Lab Production Assistant who meticulously crafts all your products, distilling 20 years of skincare expertise into each pot with precision and care. They oversee the entire production process from our lab in Cornwall, ensuring every batch meets our rigorous standards for safety and efficacy.
