What is waterless skincare?

Also known as anhydrous skincare, waterless skincare is made with oils, butters and waxes without any water-soluble fillers. It is more potent and concentrated than creams and lotions, has a longer shelf life and is better for the planet.

Traditional creams and lotions are formulated with 60-80% water. While water provides temporary surface hydration, it primarily acts as a filler that dilutes the product's potency and requires heavy preservation to remain stable. In the realm of waterless beauty, botanical oils serve as the ultimate source of cellular nutrition - actively locking in moisture and preventing trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL).

We only include nutrient-dense botanical oils and organic beeswax in our skincare products. Historically revered and scientifically proven, these oils mirror the skin's natural sebum and hydrolipidic barrier. Oils

How to use Face Oils
2-5 drops is all you need. We suggest warming the oil with your fingertips before applying it to the face. Massage gently in circular motions not forgetting the contour and neck.

How to use Body Oils
1-2 pumps should be enough but do use as much as your skin desires and wants to absorb.

Balms

Using the spatula included with each jar, apply a pearl-sized amount of product to the skin and massage gently, in a circular motion to help stimulate circulation, until fully absorbed. You only need a small amount, start small and build up if needed.

Start in the centre of your face and work outwards, giving extra care to areas of tension. The balms will naturally melt into your skin and absorb over time.

Contrary to common myths, oil-based products are highly effective for all skin types, including oily skin. Harsh cleansing often strips the skin, triggering a defensive overproduction of sebum. By introducing bio-compatible plant oils, you actively balance oil production rather than working against it.
